You are cordially welcome to our site. The Society for Life
and Development (SOLID) is an organization fully committed
to Peace and development in Africa. We have a passion
towards Africa Renaissance. We believe the 21st century can
bring about a positive reversal of fortune for a continent
plagued with civil strife, pandemic diseases and poverty. As
governments and public institutions cannot alone provide the
fillip for the much desired socio-economic and political
growth, SOLID is out to make a difference to set the agenda
for peace and to facilitate development through advocacy,
sustainable development and social mobilization. We
undoubtedly, can make the difference with the support of all
friends of Africa. We welcome partnerships and linkages as
well as collaborations that will help to make Africa a
better place. The price of inaction and indifference is sure
greater than a commitment towards change. Welcome!

OBJECTIVES
• To set the agenda for peaceful coexistence among
individuals, tribes and communities in Africa.
• To explore and promote sustainable development initiatives
for the emancipation of the African continent from poverty.
• To mobilize and facilitate the eradication of pandemic
diseases such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, etc from
the African continent.
